Bringing Powerful Stories to Life on Screen with Tonya Vision
By day I sell homes across Southside Virginia. The rest of the time, I produce independent film. Both jobs come down to the same thing: telling a story people can step into.
Storytelling is at the Heart of Everything I Do
While many around Martinsville know me through real estate, I am equally passionate about my work as an independent film producer. Real estate and filmmaking might seem like completely different worlds, but both center on the exact same foundation: human connection.
After bringing Southside Virginia’s local narratives to a national audience as a host and producer for American Dream TV, independent film is the next exciting chapter in sharing powerful stories on screen.
That passion for narrative comes to life through my production company, Tonya Vision. Built on a commitment to authentic storytelling. Tonya Vision produces independent films and creative projects that capture deep human experiences and compelling local voices. It serves as the creative launchpad for turning powerful concepts into captivating films that resonate far beyond Southside Virginia.
Opportunity
Talent is everywhere, but access to real sets is hard to come by. Tonya Vision acts as a launchpad for rising creatives, offering a hands-on environment where passionate storytellers can hone their skills and build industry-ready credits. By bringing fresh voices together on high-standard sets, we turn raw ambition into confident, portfolio-defining work.
Excellence
Great cinema isn’t defined by the size of a budget, but by the clarity of the vision and the discipline of the craft. At Tonya Vision, every project is held to uncompromising artistic and technical standards. From compelling script development to polished post-production, we maximize every resource on screen.
Impact
A great story does more than simply entertain, it starts conversations, builds empathy, and shifts perspectives. At Tonya Vision, we craft films that speak to the core of the human experience. By combining hyper-local authenticity with universal truths, our work connects deeply with audiences across all backgrounds.
Everyone Deserves a First Opportunity
Independent film allows creativity to thrive without limits. It allows fresh voices to be heard and bold ideas to become reality. Through each project, I aim to build something bigger than a movie. I aim to build momentum for careers.
If you are an aspiring actor, writer, director, or crew member in Virginia, I want to hear from you.
Two Careers,
One Skill Set.
Producing taught me how to frame a shot, light a room, and hold an audience’s attention. I use every one of those skills when I market a home.
Sellers get the producer treatment: strong visuals, a clear story, and marketing built to travel. See how I approach selling a home, browse my featured properties, or learn more about me.
Open Doors
Every story we tell, every opportunity we create for emerging filmmakers, and every frame we bring to screen depends on people who believe in authentic storytelling. We are currently raising funds for our latest film project, with every dollar going directly toward production costs, compensating our dedicated cast and crew, and maintaining our standard of cinematic excellence.
Whether you contribute financially or help spread the word, you become an essential part of this film’s journey from script to screen.
